Make an Iris Folded Moon:
Jan, from Mandurah in Western Australia, made this Christmas card for her granddaughter.
Lauren, from Santa Rosa, California in the US, made this moon and star card using the moon pattern available here. She used a star punch and the triangle template to make the iris folded star.
Patty, from Upstate New York in the US, made this blue moon project. For the background she used sheet music for the song, Blue Moon.
Shelly in Wyanet, Illinois, USA, submitted this moon project which is iris folded using paper made with the shaving cream technique. She then secured the back with clear tape and cut out around the contours of the moon. The white border was glued back down onto the iris fold and backed with mulberry paper. It says, " By the light of the moon, and the glow of the stars, my heart is with you, near and far."
Carolyn, from Queensland, Australia, created this 'picnic on the moon' greeting card. It says, " Cute bears have picnics, Tiny fairies play, While the big old moon, sleeps the night away" . She used a silver metallic coated tissue and edged it with silver ribbon for the folds.
Chris, from Derbyshire in the UK, made this moon fairy happy birthday card using the man on the moon pattern.
Sandy used the pattern to make this unique moon Valentine with paper and ribbon.
Catherine, from the UK, made this man on the moon from the insides of security envelopes. The starry sky is fancy paper glued to the front of the card.
