MINI-PRESENTATIONS

  1              Prepare a presentation about the person who sits next to you in school. Talk about this person's interests, character, hobbies, etc. (Unit 1)

  2              Visit a travel agency or its website to get some ideas for your next holiday. Prepare a mini-presentation of the places you want to visit and the things you would like to do there. (Unit 2)

  3              Prepare a self-presentation about your life so far, e.g. your kindergarten years, primary school years, the things you used to do and like. You may want to bring some photographs from your childhood to illustrate some points of your presentation. (Unit 3)

  4              Prepare a mini-presentation on an important event from your life, e.g. the birth of your brother/sister, the day when you got your pet, the day of your school-leaving exams, etc. Talk about the day of the event, giving some details and describing the way you felt then. (Unit 4)

  5              Talk about your flat/house or about a flat / house you would like to live in. You may want to bring a picture/pictures of the place. (Unit 5)

  6              Prepare a mini-presentation on the eating habits of you and your family. Talk about the meals you have, the things you eat and any interesting details about your diet. (Unit 6)

  7              Present your predictions about how the world around you will change in five years' time. Think about new technologies, education and means of transport. (Unit 7)

  8              Have a look at the 'job ads' section in a newspaper or on the Internet and prepare a mini-presentation on the most popular professions in your country now. Give a few examples and talk about the requirements that candidates must meet. (Unit 8)

  9              Prepare a mini-presentation on the things that you and your parents have argued about recently. (Unit 9)

10              Prepare a mini-presentation in which you will talk about different ways in which the mass media are used by people nowadays. (Unit 10)

11              Using information from, e.g. a TV programme or some newspaper articles, prepare a mini-presentation on the types of crime that teenagers commit and your reactions to them. (Unit 11)

12              Prepare a mini-presentation about the different ways in which young people can spend their free time in the area where you live. (Unit 12)

13              Prepare a mini-presentation on the sports popular with young people and why they may be dangerous. Give some advice about how to do the sports safely. (Unit 13)

14              Prepare a mini-presentation on the things that make the young Polish people feel proud of their country. (Unit 14)
