Patient position: prone, with the arm
adducted, extended, and medially rotated.
(Note: photograph does not show anti-gravity
test position.)
Examiner pressure: one hand applies
counterpressure against the contralateral
pelvis; test pressure is given against the
forearm in the direction of abduction and
slight arm flexion.
