Pectoralis Minor

Patient position: sitting or standing
Apply the base of the Kinesio Tex to
the coracoid process of scapula
(located approximately 2.5 cm below
the most concave portion of the
clavicle; press firmly into the
deltopectoral triangle)
Peel the Kinesio Tex from the paper
liner and place the tape temporarily
on the skin. Do not activate the glue
by rubbing..
Stabilize the base of the tape and
apply superior and lateral pressure to
the coracoid process as the patient
inhales a big breath to expand the rib
cage to increase tissue tension.
Apply the lateral “y” tail to the lateral
aspect of the nipple.
Apply the medial “y” tail to the
superior border of the pectoralis minor
to enclose the muscle.
