Installation Guide ------------------ (Note) - To determine if you should update the utility programs, refer to the Summary of Changes section. - Under Windows 95, Internet Explorer version 4 or higher must be installed. INSTALL: 1. Start Windows 95/98/Me/2000. For Windows 2000, logon with a User ID of Administrator. 2. Extract this package onto the hard drive. 3. Click Start, then click Run. 4. Type [Program Path]\SETUP, and click OK. Program Path is the full path name where you extracted the package in the step 2, and click OK. 5. Follow the instructions on the screen. Note: 1 The default installation path and folder were changed from V1.14. If you already installed the previous version, uninstall it first or change the installation path and folder to the same as before. 2 If you already installed V1.14, please uninstall it first before you install newer version. 3. Install the On Screen Display package after installing these utility. 3. If you are install this version of Utilities after uninstalling a previous version on Windows 2000, reboot the system after uninstallation. HOW TO DETERMINE WHAT VERSION IS INSTALLED: 1. Start the ThinkPad Configuration program. The main screen will be displayed. 2. Select Help, then select About menu. About dialog will be displayed. The version will be displayed next to Utility.
