Notes about this collection: I Have chosen to use the 1986 series Roots of the Swamp Thing as the start to this collection. This five issue series reprints the first ten issues of The Swamp Thing and is much better quality than the scans of the original issues. There are also extras included in this five issue series that make it a nice alternative to reading the originals. Also I have re-edited issue four from this series. Issue four includes Swamp Thing issue seven, I have replaced these pages with a recolored version. The recolored version is from Batman Hidden Treasures issue one which was printed in 2010. I understand that not everyone will agree with these choices. This is why I have included the original Swamp Thing issues within the Extras folder. I have also included the original version of issue four of Roots of the Swamp Thing in the Extras Folder. I have also numbered the issues in this collection so that you may choose which comics/scans you want to represent the first ten issues of the original Swamp Thing series (& The House of Secrets issue 92, which was the first appearance of The Swamp Thing). Also, a version of this torrent was posted elsewhere sometime ago. I have replaced many issues with better scans. All of Volume one was replaced with newer scans by Flattermann. Some of the issues in Volume two were also replaced by better (than the original) Flattermann scans. Many thanks to Flattermann & all the other scanners for making this collection possible. Thanks also to theshiverman who posted the original torrent (as far as I know!) and helped provide the order to this chronological collection.
