Apple mac os 7.6 install cd This cd is a universal install of 7.6 meaning it will install on any 68k and PPC machine that supports 7.6 . NOTE DO NOT BURN THIS DISK IMAGE WITH DISK UTILITY THE MAC SYSTEM FOLDER WILL BE UNBLESSED AND THE DISK IMAGE WILL NO LONGER BE BOOTABLE USE TOAST TITANIUM. IF FOR SOME REASON THE BURNED DISK DOES NOT BOOT. 1. You made a pretty coaster, throw that disk away. 2. Boot a mac that has a cd burner and can boot a mac classic os. 3. Send the disk image to the booted mac machine with the classic Mac OS on it. 4. Open the disk image and look at the System Folder, does it have a smily mac face? 5. If the System Folder has a smiley face, the System Folder is reblessed and it is ready to be burned, unmount it and use toast or built in cd burning while booted in the classic os. 6. If the System Folder is still not blessed, open the System Folder and drag the System File and System Suitcase to the root directory of the disk image. 7. Then drag the System File and System Suitcase back into the System Folder on the disk image. 8. Does it have a smily mac face?, If so the System Folder is reblessed, unmount the disk image and burn it using toast or built in disk image burning while booted in the classic os. 9. If for some god awful reason the System Folder STILL does not have a smiley face, open the control panel boot disk. 10. Select the System Folder on the disk image, and close the boot disk control panel. (make sure after you burn the disk you reselect the correct boot disk) 11. Look at the System Folder on the disk image and see if it has a smiely face, if so it is ready to burn, unmount the disk image and burn it with toast or built in image burning while booted in the classic os. If not give up.
