Sheryl Suzanne Crow [born February 11th 1962 in Kennett, Missouri] is an American blues rock singer, guitarist, bassist, pianist and songwriter. Her music blends country, pop, folk, and blues rock into one mainstream sound, and she has won nine Grammy Awards. Crow is also a noted political activist. 'Detours' is the name of Sheryl Crow's sixth studio album. The album marks the return of Bill Bottrell, who produced Crow's debut, 'Tuesday Night Music Club'. The album is said to show a return to Crow's forte in roots rock.
