adaptation

to feel extremely sad because someone has died

adjective
unable to see. Some people think that this word is
offensive and prefer to use the expression visually
impaired - opposite SIGHTED:

to officially suggest that someone should be given
a job, or that someone or something should receive
a prize

[phrasal verb]
if something bad such as a war, fire, or disease

to find out what physical or mental problem
someone has by examining them:

dignity

calm behaviour that makes people respect you:
She faced her death with dignity.
terrorize

to frighten someone by threatening them or by
using violence
epic

a long book, poem, or film that contains a lot of
exciting events
famine

a serious lack of food that causes many people to
become ill or to die
graceful
