Qwix Tutorial
Create xISO's using QWIX from your
Xbox HDD or PC HDD

Dvd2Xbox information :
If you use the Dvd2Xbox application to rip games from your Xbox DVD to
the Xbox HDD, you will find the games will be stored on your XBOX under
E:\Games F:\Games or G:\Games depending on what sized hard drive
your Xbox has.
PxHDDLoader information :
If you use PxHDDLoader to rip your games from your Xbox DVD to the
XBOX HDD, you will find the games will be sorted on your XBOX under
E:\HddLoader F:\HddLoader or G:\HddLoader.
Introduction :
For this tutorial I will have Halo on my Xbox HDD and will make a xISO of
it using Qwix to my PC (via FTP)... Look down below at example and you
will see where it’s located on my Xbox HDD. I want to make a xISO of this
game which is on my Xbox HDD so I can burn it to DVD-R for backup.
E.g. HALO EXAMPLE ON MY XBOX HDD
e:\Games\Halo\default.xbe
e:\Games\Halo\Movies\
e:\Games\Halo\Movies\intro.bik
etc
etc
Please Note :
You should already be able to FTP into your Xbox using a dashboard
before trying to continue with this tutorial. If you have never FTP'ed into
your Xbox before I would suggest learning how to FTP before trying to use
this. There are plenty of tutorials available or you can just ask in our
forums... We are all here to help you.

HOW TO SETUP QWIX CORRECTLY FOR
CONNECTION TO XBOX :
1. Turn on your Xbox and have it running EvoX dash or any dashboard
which has an FTP server built in.
2. Open 'Qwix' on your PC.

3. Click the 'Edit' Button in Active Connections area, as shown in the
image below and setup all your Xbox information.

4. You will see below a screenshot of my existing settings. Just set your
own settings and use mine as an example...

5. Once you have filled out all the settings, press the ‘ Test Connection '
button and it should find your Xbox on your network.

6. Click the ‘OK’ Button to remove the ‘Connection successful’ window
then click the 'Add Folder' Button, and browse your Xbox HDD where all
your games are... Normally E:\Games (on Xbox) F:\Games or G:\Games.
Then press the OK button to save all this information. See Screenshot
below.
You can now extract xISO's directly from your PC to your Xbox HDD. If
you use Avalaunch as a dashboard or install it as an application Qwix can
manage the titles on your HDD (another feature not talked about in this
tutorial)... This feature only works with Avalaunch...
That’s it for configuring Qwix to work with your Xbox... You can now move
down to the next page which explains more on how to use this tool.

1. Open Qwix
