now I'm all alonewith my trustyCBM 8032 (you donot use
a typewriterwhenyou workfora computercompany—a
wordprocessingprogram calledWordcraft is myonly
writing tool), trying todecidewhatyouwan! toknowsowe
canget it out toyou. I'mmaking semi-educated guesses.
My eyesare chronicallybloodshot from staring at myCRT
forprolonged periods. Not onlythat, but the incessant
blinking o) mycursor is makingme a nervous wreck. It
makesme feel as ifmyCBM is tapping its foot impatiently
whenever I pause, Somuch forcomplaints.
Thesemi-educated guesses thistime coversomepretty
varied topics, fromcomputershoppingto rhinoceros
games. To paraphrase Mr. Lincoln:we're hopingsomebody
will find everything interestingand everybodywill find
something interesting. Mypersonal favorite is the story
about ScottAdams' Adventure Games, but that's just
because I had so much fun doing the research.
Thanks to all ofyouwho'vesent us letters. The more
inputwe get. the less we have to guessatwhatyouwant
and need, I'm sorrywe can'tanswerall of them, but if
it lookslikea lot of people are having the same problem
orwant the same information, we'll get it into POWER/PLAY
Ifyou don't find it here, however, find (orstart!) a user
groupinyourarea. Usergroupsare terrific resourcesfor
novicesandold-timersalike.
