things

The beauty of referrals is that they are your PR money
machine. Word-of-mouth advertising is probably the most
powerful form of not only getting sales but also making
existing sales stick.
With word-of-mouth, people give referrals to other folks, and
there’s no cost of client acquisition.
Joe, do you have any background on how referrals have
helped to build your business into the millions over the years?
Joe:
Everything started in my carpet cleaning business way back
when. Having clients tell other people about me was
enormously helpful.
Much of what I built in the very beginning of my information
marketing and seminar business had to do with
endorsements and endorsement relationships. I had people
mail me their lists and recommend me to others.

Referrals are huge. For a lot of our clients, it’s one of the
biggest strategies that they utilize. It enhances all of your
other marketing strategies.
